The statistics on suicide among young individuals are indeed alarming. According to the CDC, suicide is the second leading cause of death for people aged 10-34 in the United States. Vermont's suicide rate surpassing the national average highlights the urgent need for mental health awareness and preventive measures in the state and our communities.
