Project Description:
Exciting news for beer lovers in Burlington’s South End! Switchback Brewing is expanding.
Built in 1904, the building was the offices for the Lumière Brothers Photographic Factory, part of what is known as the Flynn Ave Factories. As a long-standing pillar in the South End brewing community, Switchback has always been dedicated to brewing unfiltered and naturally carbonated beer. The expansion provides the necessary space to have more beers on tap. And, with the addition of a full kitchen, they’ll be expanding their space and their menu.
The addition provides an expansive bar, additional seating for 60 guests, merchandise and to-go beer retail space, and a raised outdoor patio.
The existing brick/masonry walls will remain intact. The HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression will be upgraded.
The Brewhouse is set to open in the summer of 2024.
