Facilities & MEP Services Manager
Overview
As a Facilities & MEP Services Manager, Dan is responsible for the efficient operation of all properties managed by ReArch Company. A licensed Master Electrician with more than two decades of facilities maintenance experience, Dan takes a hands-on approach to maintenance. He sets a positive example for his team by being proactive in the implementation of new technologies designed to monitor and protect client infrastructure. Dan works closely with the company Controller to establish annual operating budgets.
Since joining ReArch Company in 2008, Dan has proven himself to be an invaluable asset. His abilities in identifying client needs and adapting to their business structure make him well respected. Under Dan’s leadership, ReArch has developed long-term relationships with many of the area’s most respected businesses, including the University of Vermont, Keurig Green Mountain, the University of Vermont Medical Center, and the Community Health Center of Burlington, among others. Dan currently manages more than 400,000 square feet of mixed-use space in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Experience
Prior to joining ReArch Company, Dan served as Manufacturing Systems Engineer for Burton Snowboards. In his 13-year tenure with Burton, his duties ranged from managing the development and implementation of new manufacturing and R&D equipment to the actual design of machine motion and control systems that the company continues to use domestically and internationally. He successfully managed a core team of maintenance workers, machinists, and fabricators, and accurately developed and oversaw an annual operating budget.
Education
Dan obtained his Master Electrician license from the Woburn Electrician School of Code and Theory. He is also certified in Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response.
Background
Dan resides in Shelburne, Vermont, with his wife and four children. He is a licensed pilot, a competitive sailor, and an experienced rock and ice climber.
