Team Development Manager/Project Manager
As a Team Development Manager/Project Manager, Beth mentors the Project Engineers & Assistant Project Managers to assist with their development/on-going training. She works closely with the VP of Construction to allocate staff to projects as appropriate. Additionally, she is responsible for delivering her managed projects on time, on budget, and in adherence with all project documents. Beth works closely with the Project Superintendent, Owner, design team, and subcontractors to ensure a shared understanding of project goals. She takes a proactive approach in the field and office, where her experience has allowed her to implement procedures that streamline company policy and reduce redundancies.
Beth started her construction career in Vermont at Fletcher Allen Health Center before transitioning to Stowe, and ultimately to the Boston area of Massachusetts. While in Boston, Beth worked for William A. Berry & Son and Suffolk Construction, where she was managing large healthcare, life science and higher education projects. She spent two years working as an owner’s representative at Harvard Business School, managing more than $35M in capital expenditures. In 2014, Beth returned to the Vermont construction market and continues to work on challenging and notable projects across the region.
Beth earned her M.B.A in Management and Real Estate from Bentley University, and her B.S. in Construction Management from Clarkson University. Beth has completed certification courses including a 30-hour OSHA, First-Aid & CPR, and an American Society of Health Care Healthcare Construction course.
Beth and her husband reside in Jericho, Vermont with their three children and two dogs. Beth is very active outdoors and enjoys spending time boating, paddle boarding, downhill skiing and snowshoeing. She is also an avid baker, providing confections for many weddings and other family celebrations. Beth is the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Jericho Town Library and is a Volunteer Patient/Family Advisor for the NICU Advisory Committee at The University of Vermont Medical Center.
